Resolution’s fourth Family Dispute Resolution Week is happening 23-27 November this year. We’re working to raise awareness of the importance of parents putting their children’s needs first during divorce.

Resolution’s 6,500 members are family lawyers and other professionals committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. Members follow aCode of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. Members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family – and in particular the best interests of children.

The 25th November 2015 is White Ribbon Day, which calls for an end to domestic violence. One of the hardest things to balance during a divorce where one partner has abused the other is managing parenting arrangements for the children.
