We require an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to support a busy fee earner in all areas of the conveyancing process and provide support to a small conveyancing team.
The successful candidate should be able to use their own initiative and work in a fast paced environment. This will include working as part of a team as well as independently, where appropriate. In return we will provide ongoing support and offer training and development.
Opening and closing of files
Assisting with preparation of contracts and supporting documents
Checking official copy documents
Preparing and submitting registration applications and Land Transaction Tax forms
Liaising and building relationships with: Clients, Clients’ Agents, Lenders, Buyers’ Solicitors and any other 3rd parties as necessary.
Setting up files for completion
Meet with clients when required
Skills & Experience
At least 2 years conveyancing experience is essential
Work as part of a team and to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks.
Knowledge of case management systems useful but training will be given
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of SRA requirements
Provide excellent customer service
